Hybrid (Cheshire, UK)
Salary: Competitive, with clear progression
Purpose of the role:
This is a great opportunity for someone at the start of their career — a graduate, or someone with some administrative experience — who wants to build genuine technical expertise across two connected areas: international mobility and employee share plans.
Global mobility sits at the intersection of payroll, tax, social security and immigration; share plan and reward administration sits alongside it, connecting equity compensation, payroll and compliance. Together they offer a fascinating, fast-moving foundation for a career in reward and international working.
The role is admin-focused day to day, but it isn't process-for-the-sake-of-it: you'll need to understand why things are done, not just how. Working closely with and supported by our Global Mobility Lead and Global Reward Manager, who own the technical and advisory side, you'll coordinate the moving parts of our clients' international assignments and share plan activities, steadily building your own knowledge of the technical detail — including the tax, equity and compliance elements — over time. We're looking for someone to grow with us.
Key responsibilities:
Coordination and administration:
- Acting as a key liaison between employees, client HR, payroll, finance, and our external providers and service partners — including share plan administrators and professional services firms.
- Coordinating the administrative steps of international assignments to agreed timescales.
- Administering employee share plans using a dedicated share management platform (full training provided).
- Supporting the planning and execution of cyclical reward events, ensuring all activities are delivered accurately and within established timelines.
- Maintaining accurate case records and documentation across assignments, share plans and reward programmes, and producing regular status reports.
Service delivery:
- Serving as a point of contact for clients, responding to and resolving ad hoc employee queries clearly, accurately and professionally.
- Monitoring service delivery and deadlines, proactively identifying and escalating issues that may impact delivery.
- Checking supplier invoices against agreed services and budgets, and flagging discrepancies for approval.
- Explaining our processes and services to client employees clearly and accurately.
Data and reporting:
- Performing data analysis, validation and manipulation using Microsoft Excel to support mobility, reward, and reporting requirements.
Improvement and growth:
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, service efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
- Building knowledge of the technical side of the role — cross-border tax, social security, compliance, and equity compensation — with the support of the Global Mobility Lead and Global Reward Manager.
Skills and experience:
Essential:
- No prior mobility or share plan experience needed — full training and support provided.
- A genuine interest in how international working and employee reward operate, and appetite to learn the technical detail over time.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail — a meticulous, structured, systematic approach.
- Comfort with numbers, data and detail; an analytical, curious mindset.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation and analysis; competent with Microsoft Office and case management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively and work to strict deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach, delivered with a professional, calm demeanour.
- Ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders.
Desirable:
- Experience in employee reward, compensation, benefits, or share plan administration.
- Experience working with HR, payroll, or reward-related systems.
- Familiarity with equity compensation or employee share schemes.
Personal attributes:
- Highly organised and detail-oriented.
- Able to see the bigger picture: understands why a task matters and how it connects to the wider assignment, share plan cycle and client relationship, rather than working in isolation.
- Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and confident when interacting with clients and stakeholders.
- Able to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
What we offer:
- Flexible, supportive environment with real learning and progression.
- A clear path to develop technical expertise across international mobility, tax and equity reward.
- A chance to shape the role around your strengths and interests Work across global projects, with exposure to international systems and cross border working.
Benefits - Competitive.
